A WORD FROM OLIVER. Music Director/Conductor.

Dear Friends,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the new 2010-2011 season. This will be my first season with the Huronia Symphony Orchestra, dedicated and passionate players with which I will have the honour to present to you programs that will demonstrate the musicianship that the members of Huronia Symphony have. The programs for this season are comprised with works from the baroque period through classicism to today's music written by Canadian composers. A palette of beautiful music by, just to mention a few, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Bruckner, Richard Strauss and ours M. Conway Baker, Ronald Royer, Howard Baer, Oskar Morawetz and many more.

The first concert will be performed by the distinguished maestro John Barnum who, as you know, has worked for many years with the Huronia Symphony and highly contributed tothe community of Simcoe County. I am convinced, that having such an enthusiastic orchestra and organization that I will be able to continue and contribute further the necessity for music art and education. Music is an important part of our life helping develop our creativity and humanity. It lasts minutes but stays with us forever.

I wish you a pleasant and joyful season.

Yours.

Oliver Balaburski
