FUNDRAISING EVENTS

For over 43 years the Huronia Symphony Orchestra has provided the citizens of this community many opportunities to further live performances of the musical arts. From the skilled amateur musicians who make up the majority of the orchestra, to the volunteers who serve on the board of directors, to the corporate sponsors and individual donors who support our work, to people like yourself who attend and enjoy our concerts and bring others to experience the thrill of hearing a full symphony performance in Simcoe County –we collectively say, “Live and local classical and contemporary music is a valuable and integral part of our life together. The Huronia Symphony Orchestra is important to us.”

As is true for many not-for-profit arts organizations, our ticket sales account for up to a third of our revenue required to pay our expenses. The remainder must be made up through partnering with corporate sponsors, individual donations, government and municipal grants, and fundraising activity.
