FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The Huronia Symphony has been an integral part of the performing arts community in Barrie and across Simcoe County for over forty years. Our annual operating budget is close to $100,000, which enables us to attract top guest performers and retain our professional musicians - our conductor, concertmaster and section leaders. In addition, our performing expenses include rehearsal and concert venues, our music library, printing costs and more.

Ticket sales provide almost one-third of our annual revenue, and one quarter is provided by our incredibly supportive partners at the City of Barrie Department of Culture, the County of Simcoe Finance Department and the Ontario Arts Council, as well as the Community Foundation of Orillia and Area. We are extremely grateful for the financial assistance and support extended to us in our goals and activities.

In addition, we receive donations from individuals, businesses and corporations who invest in us every year and help us bring all the fun, education and excitement of the Huronia Symphony to Barrie and all of Simcoe County.

We deeply appreciate the vision and generosity of all our patrons and supporters. We have a choice of ways in which you too can help us bring live classical music to everyone right here at home.

Advertising

Fill in our Program Advertiser Order Form to advertise all season long in our Concert Programs. You may fill it out online, save it, then attach it to us in an email or print it, fill it out and fax it back to 705-487-5985. Your business advertising will be seen by our audience members in over 3,000 concert programs in Simcoe County. Corporate and individual donors are acknowledged in our concert programs. Anonymous contributions are also welcome. Donations are gratefully accepted via mail, or securely online through CanadaHelps Charities

Bequests & Planned Giving
