FINANCIAL SUPPORTThe Huronia Symphony has been an integral part of the performing arts community in Barrie and surrounding area for over forty years. Our annual operating budget is $100,000 which enables us to attract top guest performers and secure the ongoing support of our conductor, concertmaster and section leaders. Did you know that ticket sales cover less than 25% of the cost of presenting a concert? These costs include everything from the professional musicians’ salaries (our four section leaders).Guest soloists’ and Conductor fees to rental of the concert hall, utility bills. Also included are printing of materials - tickets, programs, posters. This is why we greatly appreciate the generous support of individuals and corporations. Financial support or donations to the Huronia Symphony can take place in a variety of ways. There is one that will suit your particular needs. Follow the links below for information on each method. Bequests & Planned GivingPlanned Giving enables individual donors to make gifts to the Huronia Symphony Orchestra through wills, estates, bequests, trusts and other estate planning vehicles and receive a tax advantage.
